Lessons on cleaning chittlins... 1.find and seperate the chittlin from the stomach Lining( this is the pigs intestine where the pig food passes through. 2.pull the entire! lining off leaving u with a clean order free chittlin. 3.now u should be able to see through the chittlin, if u have not been removing this lining then yes u have been eating S**t! 4. Go over them again, when u put them in the sink they should b floatingvon top of the water! 5. When u cook em u shouldnt smell em (I dnt) 6. They should not b chewy or rubbery if they do u did not remove the ENTIRE! lining! They should melt in ur mouth...(like a good piece of gum u keep swallowin cause its sooo good!) * when u finish cleaning them u should have 2xs as many chittlins then lining in ur chittlin bucket this is 2lbs.
