Lest you forget: The big joke at ICC has finally ended for President Uhuru, and is about to die on the Ruto, Sang case. However, as a record keeper I would like to refresh memories of how this big joke evolved. Had it not been for gravity of the cases, the ICC cases would have made a very good script for a comedy movie. First, Ocampo fell flat into the trap of local political power-play by the key players keen to succeed President Kibaki. Second, the usual money hungry Civil Society sell-outs jumped into the ship to mint huge financial fortune. Uhuru Kenyatta became a victim of vested political interests within the Kibaki inner circle. Immediately he joined the Kibaki team in 2007, Uhuru was never accepted. He radically changed the political landscape, and instantly created powerful enemies. Fate would have it that Uhuru´s key opponents for the mantle of the vote rich Central Kenya were in direct control of the ICC process. George Saitoti, was the person in charge of security, and was expected to present reports on the 2008 chaos. Sincerely, how did you expect Saitoti not to use the chance to block his key rival for the key Central Kenya vote? Another key player that was interested in taking over the Central Kenya vote basket was Martha Karua. Together with Saitoti, Karua was in charge of the Justice Docket that was another key player in setting up of the post election reports. Just be realistic- knowing the brutal nature of Kenyan politics- did you expect Karua not to take the opportunity to deal wit her rival? The Civil Society led by well known figures, including an elected leader from Nyeri County, came in later to do what they know what to do most- create fake reports in return for hundreds of millions of donor money. The big question that anyone seeking justice would have asked is this: How do you expected someone that is in direct competition with Uhuru to be be fair to him? How would you expect the Civil Society that is well known for creating fake reports in return fr donor dollars to say NO to an opportunity to mint millions by creating fake witnesses? I will be giving more specific details n the games that were played in the fixing arena... let us celebrate first.
