Let Me... by Dhruti Shah DSouza Let me live.. unseen, unknown obscure, disguised floating through the intoxicating fragrance of musk let me breathe.. amongst monsoon drenched books dried to imperfection in the desiccated wrinkled apricots or dehydrated umber tones of lemons let me float.. within singed forgotten love letters of past decadent ruins and tarnished fissures on an empty street or the howl of a dog at midnight within the eerie gaze of an owl upon the ancient tree of the natives in the moonlit darkness of the mountains let me lie still… in the somber eyes of the crow sitting across the vulture at the tower of silence permeating through the wrinkles of the weary and old in the deeply penetrating scarlet moist eyes of the orphaned consumed by the surreal echoes of mute tears let me dive.. in the depths of the silent sea at night inside the voice of the voiceless the dead pupils of the blind let me glide… through the shroud of the perished intersperse into a gossamer of cobwebs disappear in a haze turn into a speck of nothing dissolve and coalesce into space where emptiness is awake and all else is put to sleep... About the author: Dhruti is specialized as Communications consultant, in areas of Marketing, copywriting, editorial and Media Management. Who knows her, it is impossible not to be touched by her magic, through her talk, writings (which is one of her hobby), advice or simply by her presence. Her poems inspires the world to discover its inner freedom; starting with concrete, individual Existence, and proceeds from that to try and understand how we go about existing. Dhruti is a very dear friend of mine, and knowing her sweetness and humbleness, I chose to make a step forward, making her known to the world. youtube/watch?v=Y7yLY1YmYyQ
