Let education be free so that the children of the poor masses can go to school! This is a very misleading statement by our governor. Tuition fee is not up to 10% of what we spend to get educated. What about the books, the handouts, the departmental levies, the medical fees, the acceptance fees by first year students, the accommodation fees, etc? When I see any of these poor masses with their children in higher institutions, not paying for any of these, then I will believe that education is free indeed, and that we have a governor who has achieved something that could not be achieved in any other part of the world
