WHY I WILL NOT EVER VOTE FOR ANY NORTHERN CANDIDATE !! Dis country belongst to all of us and a situation where pple from a particular region are trying to arrogantly intimidate us into submitting to their whims and caprices, shld be collectively resisted by us. If we say we will not join their religion, d next thing they do is to start cutting d heads of our children who are working or serving as corps mbrs in their territory. If they bring their presidential candidate to us and we refused to accept or vote for him, d next thing they do is to start cutting our heads. If we say our country shld host a kind of social international event like Miss World they will say such event does not conform wit their religion and if we insist in hosting such event by saying that d country belongs to all of us, d next thing they do is to start cutting our heads. (Dis was why d hosting of Miss World was withdrawn from Nigeria some yrs back) If a single man amongst us speaks negatively about their religion, d next thing they do is to start cutting our heads and that of our children for d offence of d one man. If they say they need Sharia law and we say Sharia law is inconsistent wit our constitution, d next thing they will do is to start cutting our heads for confronting them. Now they have started again. Dis time some of us want Jonathan, but some of them want Buhari and now in their usual way of arrogantly intimidating us, they say they will cut off d head of anybody that drives Jonathan campaign vehicle in d North. Is dis how we are going to sustain our democracy and ?. If paraventure buhari is declared d winner of d coming election, can we boldly say that Buhari is a product of free, fair and credible election ??? Some of us are laughing over dis issue bcos we see ourselves in d same party(APC) wit them. But d truth is that what dis Northerners are doing is an invitation to CIVIL WAR bcos dis country belongs to all of us and no region shld threaten or intimidate d other bcos we have political, ideological, social, ethnicity and religious differences. I think d best way to correct and show dis Northerners that they cannot always have their ways or impose their kind of ideology, politics, religion, social life on us is to stand against them in time like this by voting against their candidate(Buhari)..I hope by dis they will come to their senses and realise that dis country is our joint property. So, a vote against Buhari is a vote against Northerners intimidation and against their believe that they have monopoly of violence...or what do u think ??
