WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THESE ALABAMA HOUSE OF REPS CANDIDATES? CANDIDATES WHO HAVE NOT RESPONDED TO AVRAL’S REQUEST FOR INFO ABOUT THEIR POSITIONS ON COMPANION ANIMAL WELFARE ARE LISTED BELOW. Know them? Have info? Contact [email protected] Some of the candidates are incumbents who voted against the low-cost spay/neuter bill but have been highly supportive of other pro-animal legislation. It’s risky to automatically endorse an unknown candidate because his/her opponent voted against low-cost spay/neuter—the unknown candidate might hold very negative views of animal welfare in general. We’ve had one newcomer who told AVRAL he “doesn’t care about animals, period.” Have to be careful. It’s better to find out as much as possible about each candidate. If you know any of the candidates below, contact [email protected] Feel free to share with people in your district. If you are a constituent in one of the districts below and want to contact the candidates, feel free to do so. You are welcome to share this list in an effort to find out as much as possible about these candidates.
