Let great people lead you to great people. I just watched a youtube lecture on developing a leadership board, and this line jumped out at me. I know we have great people in this group. We are 321-strong. We have great spouses. Including them, we may be roughly 600 great people. MCA is in need of 3-5 great people who will develop a commitment to bringing this school to fruition. We need great board members with professional or non-profit backgrounds. Please lead me to these people. Who do you know? Who would want to help in this effort? Some backgrounds that interest us are: financial (accounting, banking, auditing, fund-raising, grant writing), leadership, community involvement, business (owning, managing, consulting), real estate (commercial, development, facilities), education (preferably currently and long-time employed), social services, IT (web design, etc.), marketing (traditional and social media), and many more. Many of you think that you do not fit any of these categories, but we all know people who do. Please take 15 minutes to consider who you know that may be able to contribute to our mission.
