Let me give yall a fact about the term used in college as student/athlete..... see they want yall to think that they really give a damn about a scholarship player graduating but they really dont and let me explain. The scholarship ur child signs is really a 1 yr contract and he/she must perform to a certain standard or they will not renew it the following yr, hell, even next semester. If they dont perform they will take the scholarship and give it to another...its not about how well they do in class they just want them doing enough to stay eligible. The term should be changed to ATHLETE/student. If your child can help win and bring in revenue, they will keep that scholarship if not they will find someone who will. Thats a fact.
