Let me say this about this situation here in Atlanta. Many of you wish to blame the city or state on your traffic woes. First of all it is not their fault. You point to salting the roads.... this would have solved zero. Everyone left work and 6 million people got on the roads at the same time. No city is capable of handling that, period. As far as the continuing traffic issues, its your fault. Seriously, yours. Too many people driving around not able to deal with the conditions. No, I do not expect you to have Ohio driving skills, why should you, you dont live there. But, the fact of the matter is that these things dont happen up North because of the mentalities and capabilities of those drivers there. It only takes 1 person leaving their car in the center lane of a 5 lane highway to foul things up. These things simply dont happen up north.. why? Because people arent so damned r-worded to screw everyone else out of selfishness. You want to blame someone for this mess? Blame someone other than the government. They are not your saviors, they never will be. If theres any failure in Atlanta, its because of us, in our selfishness to get home to our families, to our lives and to hell with everyone and everything else. Atlantans have failed Atlantans. 1000+ car accidents over ~3 inches of snow... grats. That doesnt happen in northern cities, salted / plowed roads or not. Thats because of the mentality of the drivers, not the road conditions. So continue to blame a lack of salt trucks... while northerners laugh at your incompetence.
