Let me talk about Joan Rivers for a second. I knew it was coming since this afternoon. More than two articles stated today that the doctors were taking her off of life support. She just had a sudden medical issue last week or so and it seemed she would have easily been taken care of, but it sounded like the doctors refused to (based off of my memory, dont quote me). Now whether or not if she had a living will and if so it said to take her off of it we dont know. This has been a tragic year for celebrity deaths. Yes every year its the same amount, but this will be one of those years where youll recognize nearly every name this year (not just behind the scenes people or not as big stars). Weve just gotten out of the woods with Robin Williams. Well be talking about her for quite some time. Id like to close with this thought, as great as she was in Spaceballs, and even though she did make cameo appearances in some animation such as Shrek and The Simpsons, Im moving forward. I was never that much of a Joan Rivers fan. Never cared for the Red Carpet or any shows related like that. If it were someone that is NOT a stranger to animation like Robin Williams or even Mickey Rooney was, then yeah, plans would change for my cartoon reviews, but since it wasnt anything major, Im just going to do my cartoon review as planned for next week. However, I do feel for the family because something tells me Rivers was not giving the greatest care she should have.
