Let me tell you a story that few people know. 5 years ago me and my wife although still married lived in separate homes because of her choice. It was about 6 years ago, I saw it coming. Initially, she took the 3 kids and even stole the dog. My heart was broken and I found it hard to go on as a person. I now had to be a mom and dad later on until present day. I could not teach as much do to being a full time mom and dad. Everything I did was for my family. During this time, half of my kids went a Catholic school right up the road. My former clone Brian Keller, was and still is, the assistant coach there. Mix that in with some of Bobby Weaver students and a dynasty was about to begin as it was a marriage made in Heaven. Some of these kids may have been in other states for years but they have been coming to my club since they were in diapers as well as Weavers. You can not blame them they wanted to go somewhere where there was good education, good religion beliefs and a man that had 2 sons and a nephew going to Weaver and was driven to help them be there best and did most of work in the background for Bobby. Add in Jeff Karam whom wanted his kids to do well and a lot to do and prove to himself and a rivalry with big brother. How can you fail. The kids get the credit and deserve it. Parents deserve it and all that helped. Do not do things for credit and you will accomplish great things. I also a decade before helped Easton bringing many of my clubs kid to wrestle for Easton , against my beliefs, they wanted to come any way even living in some of my rentals an with me as far as New Mexico, Jersey, PA, Oklahoma. If you buld it they will come. I was tired of all the kids Going to Northampton. Easton did a 4 peat and people were complaining just like they are now. My final thought on this is I was suppose to go North Carolina State University, I ended up at ESU. People laughed at me but I got the last laugh. I feel you can be good from where you are but if as teacher someone is having a lot of problems and not happy where they are but are happy coming to the Lehigh Valley, I welcome them with open arms.
