Let my boss talk me into riding a bike across campus today….For those of you that know me well I neednt say more...for those of you that dont know, balance is not a strength of mine. Furthermore, Chicos campus is full of traffic and not to mention the dreaded speed bumps… As we pedal away….correction..., as she pedals away and I frantically wobble away from the bike rack I yelp out to remind her that I frequently fall down on two feet and that wheels probably arent a good idea…(I mean shes seen this on multiple occasions with her own eyes from Fort Myers to Asia) but too late, she, who I suddenly realize has given me far too much credit, has her little basket packed with her notebook and trendy Louis Vuitton tote and is on her way across the campus on her turquoise cruiser like Beach Bike Barbie…Never one to disappoint, I gripped the handle bars, found my balance, hung on to that lime green beast and peddled like the wind...Thankfully I made it to and fro the meeting without ending up in a body cast or plastered to someones windshield... Everyone that enjoyed a hearty laugh at the expense of a horrified broad, wobbling like a baby colt and trying to maintain HR appropriate language as she searched for the breaks and desperately attempted not eat asphalt after re-grounding the bike post speed bump- you are welcome!
