Let us assess Hon Ababu Namwamba. He wants to be SG of opposition party, ODM, that is great! But what is the performance of Hon. Ababu or track record as the PAC Chair? Immediately after the stolen 2013 Presidential election and the bizarre ruling of the Supreme court, I was involved in piecing together how election technology was compromised by IEBC, TNA and et al so as to enable stealing of elections. Based on the findings, I wrote 7 letters to PAC Chair asking for opportunity to appear before his Commission to help the National Assembly with facts and evidences on how the BVR, EVID, RTS and RPS had been compromised to allow rigging of Presidential Election results. I still have copies of those letters stamped received by PAC office. However, up to today, a year plus, I have never received acknowledgement nor reply to my letters by PAC or Hon Ababu Namwamba. One wonders why he did not just reply saying I am stupid and I do not know what I am writing about. Cde Okoiti Omtatah also wrote to PAC asking to appear before the Commission to shed light on BVR procurement corruption. He never received a reply. Why was the Chair not interested in such important matter? On separate and related behavior, PAC members both in jubilee and CORD say that whenever there is a hot subject to be discussed in PAC, Hon Ababu always asks PAC members that they go brief President Uhuru Kenyatta first before discussing. Where in the world does PAC behave like this ? In off the cuff discussions with a couple of PAC members I have learnt that not less than twice during discussions on Dep President William Rutos hustlers jet, MPs in PAC differed with Ababu push that he first discusses the matter with the culprit before releasing report. Why hasnt PAC chaired by Ababu ever released any report spotlighting UhuRuto failures, scandals: Westgate/Lamu security scandals etc? PAC members are on record questioning Hon Ababu Namwamba why they should report to the President or Deputy when PAC is supposed to be independent accountability body. PAC members from across the divide say that Hon. Ababu Namwamba has been to State House many times than any of his predecessor allegedly to brief the President on PAC proceedings. PAC chair going to State House to brief President on PAC proceedings has never happened before. I am asking my brother Hon. Ababu to shame me by denying these allegations about my letters to him and/or allegations that he frequents to DP and State House to brief Uhuru Kenyatta on PAC proceedings.
