Let us dispense with the finger pointing and blame laying with this catastrophic snowstorm outcome...to be honest...even I had my doubts yesterday morning when I left out that it would actually become so hazardous...face it...nearly 30 years of living in the ATLmetro...and I can count on less than two hands worth of fingers the number of times storms of this horrendous capacity have hit this area...so it is not a common occurrence for most winters here...and granted, there perhaps could have been some better strategic planning by both local and state officials to pre-salt the roads, etc...each of us too has some responsibility as well...because I do not believe that anyone of us would have made any type of decision to be out and away from the safety of shelter if we had anticipated this outcome...or heeded the weather forecast...none of us would have put ourselves nor our loved ones in this type of dangerous predicament...so let us all hold full responsibility for the egregious decision making processes that led to this fouled mess...and let us move forward with more experience to better heed what might be a good predication of the weather conditions to come...better to err on the side of guaranteed safety and miss a day of school or work...probable penalties and all...each of us good have made better choices about what we were doing when this occurred...it is not just the governments responsibility...it is our own as well...peace and blessings...
