Let us not be conformed in the image of the world & look as any other unbeliever but rather let us be apart from the world in that we abhor that which is evil & cleave to that which is good for greater is he that is in us than that is in the world. If we are to be Christian we must discipline ourselves to read the word of God (Ephesians 6)-> "The sword of the spirit which is the word of God", meditate on that which we have read & pray because doing one without the other is likewise to taking a shower, without bathing & drying off or to attempt to drive a car without an engine or key. To be Christian is to become more like Christ in everything you do, Jesus often withdrew to lonely places & prayed so if Jesus prayed than how much more should we pray-after meditating on the word of God. The simplicity to just pray & read your bible is inadequate, we have to stay continuously in prayer not just before we eat, when we awake, & before we slumber but throughout the entire day & stay in the Bible, if we know God is the one who created the universe & has the power to cast into hell & that reproaching from Satan is on every turn then we ought to know we must pray & read the almighty word of good God almighty.
