Let us pray today 17 July: O Lord we pray for forgiveness for past sins we have committed and future sins we will commit. Though it is our aspiration to be more like Jesus, clothed in righteousness, we realise that we may fail to do what is right from time to time. Which is why we need the Holy Spirit to prod us in the right direction when we start to go astray. Today we invite the Holy Spirit into our lives once again, to direct our steps and comfort us when we hurt, give us understanding when we study Your Word and intervene for us on behalf on the Son. In Jesus name, amen,
