[Lets Discuss] As Andrew H. Comerford-Cirner points out, there has been a lot of crazy comments about the Ebola virus lately. Some of the commentary reminds me (and Andrew) of the early days of HIV. Remember when there were calls to isolate, quarantine, refuse service, refuse care. Some of those same calls are being made today here on Facebook in relation to the two healthcare workers exposed to Ebola who were returned to America for treatment. Some of the infuriating comments have came from gay men. Is it me, or have we quickly forgotten the lessons from the early days of HIV/AIDS? Have you seen any misinformation being bandied about Facebook about Ebola? And, if so, what did you do to confront it?
