Lets face it. Sometimes weve been attached to relationships that have left us constricted, conflicted and restricted. The weight of WHAT WENT WRONG is often internalized and equated to WHATS WRONG WITH US. We must not only deal with the weight of these feelings, but the feelings themselves. First acknowledge that the feelings do exist. Then acknowledge how those feelings stifle us in various areas of our lives. Next make the choice to eliminate debilitating behaviors that attract these feelings to us----or in other words, do something different. Know what or who triggers these feelings. Make choices that open avenues for freedom of being restricted and anchored to the weight of your past. Spend quiet time with self and God and add faith to your prayers knowing that He can deliver.
