Lets make a movie on religions. I have some impactful scenes in hand - 1. A priest takes your purse and throws money from that into the Hundi. I havent seen this happening in any temples but lets innovate. 2. A godman communicates with God through a device. There are other Gurus who do really awesome things(free surgery, free education, free homes) for the society but lets forget them for a while. 3. The hero should chase Lord Shiva around. This will hurt religious sentiments but as its Hindu God, censor might not do anything. Wait, I have a problem. All these scenes are on Hinduism. What do I do now? Okay, let me add a few scenes on other religions - 1. A terrorist attack where people are killed and I can just show that a gang has taken responsibility. 2. I could show a 20-30 seconds reel on conversions. Now I can claim that I have shown all religions equally in bad light(which is not true) and pass the censors. You know what? This movie is already available - its called PK. As an average thinking guy, I am able to clearly see how Hinduism has been deliberately portrayed in bad light. I would any day prefer worshipping idols or even trees rather than indoctrinating, converting and bombing people. Sorry !
