Lets see if I can get this right. I am starting a onair streaming radio program on The Bacon Rock Network. This group is not a Christian group but they are allowing me to play what I want. It has a very large audience and normally gets all of the coverage of touring bands in the area. That all said, I am mixing in Christian Music from this era with other non Christian music. I am trying to have a format that causes people to think by planting seeds and allowing God to work through His Spirit. It is a different concept and I will warn those doing the google search, this is not a Christian network and if listening at various times you may or may not hear something that likely offends you. That said, my show, currently scheduled for 3 hours a week, once a week will be an attempt to let Gods Light Shine, thus the name of the program, Light Shine. Again, it will use various songs, Christian and not that plants seeds. I am open to hearing various artists whether Indie or signed. I really want to find great Christian music and while I have a very extensive library I have spent dozens and dozens of hours transferring some of that to MP3 format. I can take CDs much easier to transfer to MP3s and if there are any artists labels, or whoever with music from this era or newer please contact me as to how to get me the product. A note, for those who are published, I insisted that the station play royalty fees via ASCAM and BMI, will look at other ways if need to. As a musician, I understand the importance of this. Now some of the artists in the first show aired next week include: Starting out Heavy Rotation (meaning you will hear at least once maybe 2-3 songs per 3 hours) Steve Morse, Dixie Dregs, Rob Cassels, Civil Twilight, Daniel Amos, ELO, Glenn Kaiser (Rez), Kansas, The Alarm/U2, Yes Others you will hear: Bob Dylan, Boston, Bruce Cockburn, Chuck Cooley, Collective Soul, Credence Clearwater Revival, Glen Campbell, Green Day, Johnny Cash, John Michael & Terry Talbot, Nathan Lee, Pat Terry, Pink, Robert Plant, Storyville, Joe Walsh, SHEL, Craig Morgan, Gavin Degraw, Johnny Lang, Keith Green, Mark Farner, Love Song, Mark Knopfler, Matt Ridenour, Ricky Reed, Peter Yorn I am open to many other suggestions and if making requests will try to honor them, but please make requests on the page,The first show is already set and includes the artists mentioned above, both again Christian and not, as you can see, a number of artists and bands from this era. The FB page for the show which I just started working on is as follows: https://facebook/pages/Mike-Furches-Light-Shine-On-The-Bacon-Rock-Network/280299168832861
