Lets share some healthcare stories. Our worst experiences working in the healthcare field. Mine would be the time I was doing a CT of the chest on a patient. The persons finger nails were real thick and porous like the patient had a nail fungus. Plus they were stained brown from what I hope is from the patients heavy smoking habit. Well I had the patient on the scan table. The table was chest high. I was talking to the patient and said that I need your arms up above your head. I looked away for a second while I was still talking (like I ever shut up) and the patients thumb went into my mouth. Not like just the tip of it. I am talking way up in there like the John Holmes of thumbs. I am gagging just typing this out. The feel of the patients nail scraping the inside of my cheek like what a pumice stone would feel like. I instantly started dry heaving right there by the patient so hard I had tears rolling off my cheeks. I ran over to the sink and washed out my mouth. I finished the patient up and got a toothbrus
