Lets talk!!!! I was raised by one of the greatest mothers who has ever walked on the face of this earth. The lessons she taught me will never be forgotten. although she is not physically present, her spirit continues to live, and I carry her in my heart and memories everyday. I consider her an angel from God, because she unselfishly gave so much of herself to others and made sure that everyone was taken care of. She never abandoned her children or turned her back on them when they did not do the right things. But, she always unconditionally loved her children. I never seen her give up, although she was disappointed and discouraged. Ive watched her cry, laugh and live life to the fullest.... but never complain or indicate that she wanted to give up. I secretly questioned her love, because sometimes I thought people misused and even abused her kindness, but she always lived by the golden rule, treat others the way you want to be treated I learned the meaning of love by watching her, and her love was a perfect example of Gods love, and she was a virtuous woman, who made sure her household was taken care of and there was no lack. She worked six days a week and still had time to cook, clean and take care of her family. Sunday meals were the best, fried, chicken, collard & mixed mustard greens, candied yams, corn bread, and macaroni & cheese. She cooked with love and made every meal special. She believed in her family and kept them together, no everything was not perfect, but she made it seem as though it was perfect. She carried herself in a way, that you would never know that she ever had a struggle, only made it to the 8th grade, but yet she was a highly intelligent and an advocate for obtaining a quality education. Gentle, but yet stern, not strict, but no nonsense. My mother always had the answer to every question, and a remedy for every sickness. A women full of wisdom and understanding. There are things that I did not understand while she was alive, that I understand now!!!!!I learned that love is more than just a four letter word, it is an action word, something you do, it suffers long, love is kind, envieth not, seeketh not her own, and beareth all things. God used her to express his love in the earth realm, and I am forever grateful!!!!! appreciative!!!!!!
