From Irish water: Further to the letter distributed to the residents of the Ballynanty Area on 31st July, this information note is being issued by Irish Water to provide an update on the proposed works to replace the lead and cast iron pipework in the water distribution network. The provisional programme is presented on the back of this information note on a street by street basis. The Ballynanty Lead and Cast Iron Replacement Works is a project being financed by Irish Water and forms part of the Limerick City Watermains Rehabilitation Project. The works in the Ballynanty area will consist of the replacement of approximately 3000 metres of cast iron watermains and the decommission- ing of over 300 lead services.
