Letter to Ski Racing Members from SRA : Dear Ski Racers, It is with great sadness that I confirm the news that Rick Love, Chairman of Ski Racing Australia, Director of Ski Racing Victoria and long-time ski race competitor, passed away suddenly. Rick gained ski racing accolades across almost every class in our sport and competed successfully all over the world. He was most recently a superclass competitor, Australian Title Holder for 40–50 Men, winner with the Sapphire team of the Victorian Point Score Veteran Men 40+ Series, winner of the Hawkesbury 120 Veterans Social class, and winner of the Bridge 1 Up 200 HP class. Representing Australia on the international stage, Rick was a world championship competitor and captain of the Australian Team during its most successful period from 2007 through to our most recent successes in 2013. I know that all of you will join me, the Directors of SRA and SRV, along with the entire ski racing community in Australia and ski racers from around the world in mourning the loss of a great competitor and friend. Our thoughts are with Rick’s beloved daughter Penelope and wife Teresa, his parents and sister, the Love family and all of Rick’s friends.
