This will include foodstuffs, mobile fonz n above all, fertilizers! Now, tel me how we can lower tha cost of living by increasing the prices of these must acquire commodities!! If som1 in the govt talks abt the govt subsidising, then this z a blackmail...hw do u tax a commodity n subsidise the same commodity; unless f ya a not wel upstairs.... hw do we talk of food security yet insted of subsidising fertilizers we add VAT on them!!! 2. President Uhuru z in tha East begging 4 loans of wch the taxpayer will hav 2 bear tha burden. The critical part of t z that there a no clear outlines on where thiz money z destined. I dont find t necessary 2 rush 4 loanz from the East. 3. I understand that the govt doesnt hav enough at the moment, but the tactic of using the judiciary 2 frustrate teachers and collect a lot of revenue from them z impunity.... the govt shud jaz use the ryt means 2 collect tz revenue but not 2 b opportunitic in abad way. Thatz y I feel Kibaki tried his level best n tha country waz able 2 finance itz projects by 95 % n foreign intervention waz only 5%. If the prices are going 2 rise, then we a jaz but creating artificial inflation, n tha end result z evr1 wil b crying 4 a pay hike, thingz wil stil kam 2 point zero. We nid crious advisors in our govt, ppl who c beyond now, ir else, Kenyanz shud expect their lives 2 remain tha same f not 2 worsen. #Ignatius
