Let’s Do Church-The church is the community of the redeemed. It is not the community of the perfect. It is true that much of the New Testament is telling us how to live the Christian life, but there is also much written to us telling us to love one another, in spite of the fact that the other members of the church are failing to be perfect and sometimes even hurting us. Many church people play the game: my imperfections are not as bad as your imperfections. Therefore I am better than you. Jesus taught and continues to teach that sin is sin. And He does not catalog sins as: big sins and little sins. We do that. But that does not make our judging which sins are the worst right. I am thankful to be a part of a church that has been redeemed and continues to be redeemed even though none of us as members are perfect.
