There have been a bunch of posts crossing my feed recently about how the US Army wants a more lethal pistol. Cue all the arguments from many moons ago as to how the US should have never moved from the .45 ACP and all that. Im sure that for some personnel, maybe special forces for example, lethality is important. However, as a tanker, if Im using my sidearm, Im not trying to kill anyone. Im trying to get them to keep their head down long enough for me to get to a tank, which means the more reasonably sized bangs, the better. If you dont think a 9mm is big enough for the job, stand there and let me shoot in your general direction with it. I suspect you may become nervous. Where did that ammo box come from, and why did they misspell ammo as S O A P?
