Let’s Talk About… Some Common Mascara Mistakes Avoid extra pumping of the wand into the tube because it can let air in and make the mascara flakey and dry out. It is not about how expensive the mascara because a $4 mascara gives the same effect like that of $10-$22. Don’t use mascara for too long. Get a new one after 3 months.
