Let’s take a look at the dry bones in the valley and allow the Lord to shine his light. (Eze. 37:1-4,13) (v.1) The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones. (v.2) And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry. (v.3) And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest. Now are we talking about actual bones here? The Lord is showing you something on a physical plain here so he can teach you something spiritual. (v.4) Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. The message the Lord is trying to show you here is that these are people that are spiritually dead. That is why the Lord told Ezekiel to preach unto the bones. And after Ezekiel preached unto the bones let’s see what happened. (v.13) And you shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves. After Ezekiel told them what thus saith the Lord and they heard it and they did it they came up out of their graves, they were alive again they were no longer the living dead. How about you, are you one of the living dead? Do you think that you are going to just waltz through this life, saying praise the Lord, praise the Lord, straight into the kingdom? You need to understand how Gods wants you to serve him and if you don’t, you will remain spiritually dead.
