Liberals paint this picture of trying to help the little guy. This is a facade. They pretend to help the little guy for their personal gain. They love victims. They love words like "fairness" to play sides and create class, race, or gender warfare. People are gullible enough to buy this. When the truth is their policies damage the economy. They shrink the middle class, make the poor poorer, and make sure the elitist class gains no new members. They need a permanent underclass to succeed. Our welfare state does not improve the lives of the down trodden. It offers a temporary band aid to their problems. The problem is that most never fight to escape the chains of welfare but develop a dependency on it.
