Life Lesson Tip: The next time you hear the faint sound of water running, after having checked every possible source in your home and finding nothing, concluding that its perhaps the newly installed solar hot water system, at which point you go to bed for the night, ask yourself two simple questions: do you have anyone in your home who likes to play with the yard hose - a kindergartener, for example - and is it conceivable that this one might not turn the water off after playing with the hose? This will save you from dealing with a flooded basement in the morning. For what its worth, the swales filled up beautifully.
