Life Lessons Learned from a Solitare Game: I play Solitare...A LOT...and it occurred to me this morning that there is a lot of similarities between my game and my life!! Although sometimes you dont make enough points to break even, but most of the time you do!! (finances) Sometimes it looks impossible, but you win!! Sometimes it looks easy, but you lose!! (decision-making) You never know what is going to pop up next!! Although you might be feeling frustrated, you should always be anxious to see what that next shuffle brings!! (raising kids) Sometimes you have to tear down everything you have done and redo the whole thing because you can do it better if you go about it a different way!! (lifestyle changes) You have to pay attention to your batteries, because you dont want to run out of energy in the middle of something important!! (health) It doesnt matter how much you pray, sometimes you are not going to get what you want!! Sometimes you get it later than you want it, and sometimes when you get it, it wasnt what you wanted after all!! Some things are not meant to be, and you just have to keep playing and not lose heart!! (religion) And, last but not least... If you get mad and throw it out of the window of a moving vehicle, well, then you are just going to be without, because your spouse...or boy/girlfriend...is not going to take you back to get it!! (relationships)
