Life after NBC40: I’m a firm believer in the idea that everything happens for a reason. And while my forecasts will no longer be on television, here’s how you can follow the fickle and often challenging world of South Jersey weather: 1) I’m very excited that starting Monday January 26th, I’ll be working for The Press of Atlantic City. Besides covering the weather and environment “beats” for the paper, I’ll also be doing multiple daily video forecasts that will be shared online, live streaming during major weather events, and likely blogging too. I’m grateful and honored to be the first meteorologist in the 100+ year history of a great paper. And I hope an expansion and commitment to local weather can make it even better! 2) I’m also happy to be continuing to serve as Longport Media’s chief meteorologist. You can hear my forecasts 24 hours a day on KOOL 98.3-FM, 103.7 WMGM-FM, and NewsTalk 1400 WOND-AM. And starting Monday on WOND, tune in at 6pm every weekday for the South Jersey Edition Prime. I’ll be live, with David Spatz and my former NBC40 colleague Pete Thompson, for today’s news, tonight’s sports, and tomorrow’s weather. All at a time you’re used to hearing it:) 3) You can also watch my thrice daily video weather forecasts on SNJ Today, online and via Facebook and Twitter. 4) And of course, I’m still excited to be your Facebook and Twitter Source for all that is South Jersey weather. I’ll be clogging up your newsfeeds again very soon:) But first, I’m off to Florida with Amanda for an eight day vacation. It’s been an emotional and hectic week, well actually last few months.
