Life has been unfair to Nikki boy. He never had the luxury to enjoy what a domestic pet suppose to have. Basic needs like proper pet food was not given. He was fed bread and water. Nikki - believe hes a Pomeranian. He was sent to a vet in oct 2011. Nikki couldnt walk at that time. Vet said he was not suffering fm a stroke, but condition could be due to either a brain tumour at d cerebellum or a degenerative disease (doggy parkinsons). What was known was that Nikki was badly neglected when he couldnt walk. He was then sent to a shelter for boarding.. sad to say, they never went back to get him after the supposed boarding period was over. Shelter lady who took Nikki in was also told that he was fed bread and water! Nutrition is key to anyones well-being, this is an outright act of cruelty and neglect that causing his malnourishment. Nikki was given supplements and proper food when he was cared for at the shelter. He eventually stood up and walk! He walks more in circles but he is definitely in a way better condition when he first arrived at shelter. Nikki is paper trained and is rather picky abt cleanliness too :) 80% pee pad trained, he can eat and drink on his own.
