Life in general is tough, life for the entrepreneur or businessperson is even tougher because there is no certainty. As a business owner or entrepreneur you are not guaranteed an income, there are no guaranteed salaries but this is what being successful is all about. They say that “Security is the enemy of success” and that is the way it is. You cannot have both worlds, if you want to enjoy success you will probably have to sacrifice security for it in the beginning. That is not to say that you will never be secure, it means that you may have to risk security in the short term in order to enjoy long term success where security is no longer an issue. The security I refer to is financial security.
