Life is a strange place, sometimes you win now and lose later, sometimes you lose something now and gain something later, with all our humanly might we cant change the past, no matter how you may dream of taking time back, youll never change what happened, even and especially if its partly or wholely your own mistake... Life is about growth, your journey, nobodies perfect, you accept it, its neccesary to learn from your mistakes. With that said, theres another side to the coin, the way of this world gives way to events that you cant control, or only partly initiate. Sometimes its a seemingly golden opportunity to get yourself into a sticky situation, sometimes its worldly circumstance... To find your way from contemplating what could have been, you have to look at what you have in exchange, the tunnel is seldom gloomy all the way, if it was than why would you choose to wake and fight another day. In a way, there is no value above experience to the individual soul, anything you value on this earth is temporary, loaned, after which there are no guarantees and when youve lost something, small, medium, or you long for but can never retrieve. Sometimes, the memory you had, holding or using a particular object or substance, doing a certain thing, or being with a certain person. In terms of what could have been, you have to cut your losses, learn from experience, dont punish yourself too much about the things you cant change, take back, even moments you cant live in forever more . sort of, look to make the best out of how things work out. Keep moving forward. If anything, life is about growth.
