Life is funny sometimes. Earlier today I was reading an article about a hit and run situation where the driver was a black male. A bunch of comments underneath were like, Oh thats how black people are, they only care about themselves! Well just a little while ago I was walking to the store and had to cross this narrow little bridge that always freaks me out. I have to wait until traffic clears and I can hurry across because cars/trucks are forced to drive so closely pass me. Well, today a pick-up truck stopped in front of the bridge and motioned me to go (stopping traffic), I waved and mouthed, thank you, and as the driver waved back and smiled I noticed he was black. Assholes and kind people come in all shapes and colors. Im feeling lucky to realize that.
