Life is not about reasoning and ethics. The fact is that efficiency is not humane and what constitutes as ethical is dependent on the individual perceiving the situation. The people we vilify and dehumanize were never really evil. The only maleficence that exists in this world is that dealt by those who feel that the world has wronged them and they are entitled to strike back. The intention behind your enemies is almost indefinitely positive through their own perspective. If you are ever going to be happy you will have to learn that some things arent worth fighting for. Suffering is not only inevitable, but necessary for growth and development. This doesnt mean you should stand idly by when being abused, but take into account the feelings of others before what is logical. You may be correct in an argument, but that doesnt mean your being correct is worth destroying another person. If perfection through efficiency is the filter we all must be exposed to than humanity in its entirety would be worn down to nothing and replaced.
