Life isnt linear. There is no beautiful ebb and flow to it that we sorely wish it had. It can turn on a dime. It can be changed instantly and drastically with just a few spoken words. People often like to say that actions mean more than words, but words are every bit as powerful as any weapon that can be wielded. Words can be life altering, and so powerfully dramatic that it changes our ideology or social circle. Words can remove or instill our faith in something or someone. Words can make you feel ashamed and tear you apart from the inside out, or they can lift you up in ways you never thought possible. Words can be the antidote that you need for the things that have been poisoning your life, or be so brutally toxic that you decide that life isnt worth living anymore. Remember that when words leave your lips, they can never be taken back. All of the apologies in the world cannot undo they damage they do.
