Life often presents tests and challenges, and I have found that when we face the root fear that is undergirding each situation, we can get honest with ourselves and take the true issue to the Lord. Root fears often involve our mortality, our provision, fear of being in pain long term, shame, need to be loved and accepted and/or seeing our dreams come to fruition. When we resolve those issues within ourselves, the challenge we face loses its power over us, for we have run to Jesus knowing that He can handle our raw truth, and will walk with us through anything we face. His love is not moved by our frailties, our circumstances, our fears...not even by death, for He walks with His own on both sides of eternitys bridge.
