Light bearers... Matthew 25:6,7 6 “At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’ 7 “Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. 8 The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘GIVE US SOME OF YOUR OIL; our lamps are going out.’ (PAUSE) Matthew 5:14-16 14 “YOU ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Ask yourself this question? Are you getting ample amount of oil to keep your light shinning? Take away: Not letting your light shine can result in your lamp gone out, lacking oil, fuel and you not even noticing it until its too late. We need to live day by day knowing that we are being fueled with the Spirit of God. At the end of the day the pastor, elder, praise team leader, true light bearer Christians oils will not be sufficient for them and you.
