Light destroys the darkness and the darkness perceives it not. Really difficult questions about tough love: >Are we raising our children, or are we provoking them to anger, razing our children, blaming them, a fault free parenthood while inconstant in their light and as an ill wind, shredding the sails of their children, giving no safe port, nor quarter, leaving their lives shipwrecked? >When should a parent or elder pray God to devour any child? >Tough love, is it for wicked children, or for the parents so they may shun their familial duties? >What does tough love do their children, the ones that live through it? Does tough love really give explanation for why, like communism, it works so good in theory for everyone when really, it too often kills the exiled child and only works for the parents to give more money to their local church?~jjm
