Lights. Camera. Aaaaaaaand YOU on stage!!! The call for stories is on folks: Coming Out Monologues is now seeking stories to build the production for 2015 to benefit JASMYN and PFLAG as we have every year since our very first production in 2012. Without your stories, there is no production - this project has lived year after year because of the courage embodied by those who chose to step forward as one of the many diverse faces of our community to shatter silence, preconceptions, misconceptions and prejudice because they knew, they know, because we knew, we know: “labels can only confine us – and we aspire to be undefinable”. If you and/or you and yours want to submit your story for the 2015 COM, please email manuscripts to: jaxcomingoutmonologues@gmail Keep in mind, we have a team of script-writers available to assist you in the development of your story, if necessary. Do not let the theme intimidate you – our script-writers can help you find the fit within your personal story. This initial submission is a rough draft, if you will. Submissions should be 3-4 pages MAX, double spaced. If you do not want to read your own story, we will audition someone for your piece.
