Like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift a standard against your enemies. As waters break out, so the Lord will break out against your enemies. Waters are symbolic of many things but in this case it represents troubles. Many troubles. Floods of troubles. When Job’s friends discouraged him in his time of need, the Lord broke out against them. They were in so much trouble that they had to offer sacrifices at Job’s feet to appease the Lord’s anger. Instead of your worrying about how the Lord is going to avenge you, stay your path. Continue to press in to what you are called to and the Lord will lift standards for you. He will rebuke your devourers and sends billows of waves against your persecutors for His name’s sake. He will not suffer your foot to be moved and He will not sleep on His judgments against unrighteousness. Stand in the Holy place in God and let Him break out on your behalf. Keep your spirit clean and let Him vindicate you.
