Like each of you, Sarah Treanor is a remarkable human being. REMARKABLE!!! The death of her fiance, Drew, cracked her open. BIG, BIG, BIG TIME!!! It was supposed to. And I have been witness to Sarahs dive STRAIGHT IN to all of it. All of it. The good, the bad and the ugly. Has it been easy for her. NO. NO. NO. NO. A THOUSAND TIMES NO. THERE IS NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING EASY about this new way to do grief stuff. And that is why most - MOST - dont do it. Until NOW. 2015. More and more and more are saying YES ... to life, to love and to themselves AND IT IS SO SO SO DELICIOUS!!! Heres what Sarah posted today: Its OFFICIAL!! My first magazine cover! I am tearing up writing this... Not because of the outcome - which IS in itself awesome - but because of what it took to get here. Because of HOW MANY people it took to win this. I want you all to know how unbelievably overwhelmed I have been this past week by your support. Thousands of people voted, and hundreds shared. I am being honest that I never in my life imagined having such love and support not only for the work I do, but for the person I am becoming... The person who lost everything and - with the help of so many - is rebuilding into someone new. It is far more than a magazine cover for me. It is a blazing moment in my healing that I will remember forever. A moment that has reminded me of what is possible when we open our hearts and allow others to be a part of our journey - when we work together, we can do great things. It has only made me curious about what great things we might do together down the road! I want to thank each and every one of you - it would absolutely not have happened without you.
