Like many of our lovely Brown Barn customers I find myself achy and tired at the end of a long week. What do I reach for when I need to relax and recover? Lavender. My self-help ritual starts by lighting a lavender candle, then I fill my tub with lots of good warm water. To this I add our Brown Burl White Pines bath soak with lavender and pine essential oils for deep relaxation and salts with clay to help detoxify. I jump in the tub and after relaxing for a bit, inhaling the aroma of these amazing oils, I then scrub and exfoliate using Brown Barns lavender sugar scrub. I carefully step from the tub (watch out as it can be a bit slippery from that fabulous oil scrub!). Pat myself dry and am now snuggled up with my electric lap blanket and a big glass of water to help hydrate and detoxify while I watch a very sappy holiday movie. Just before I drift off to sleep tonite I will take a bit of lavender salve and run it along my nostrils and on my wrists so that I inhale lavender to help me drift off to a good nights sleep.
