Like many of you, I am sure, I spent a part of today watching, listening, and reading about Martin Luther King Jr., I absorbed information about the holiday, the man, his ideals, his speeches, and sermons. Many, I had experienced before many times. I also followed beyond this to reading about his wonderful wife and her support of his ideals throughout her time here in our world. Then, as so often happens, I began to surf on youtube. I fell into this moment of history which happened about a week after the occurrences of violence regarding the marches from Selma to Montgomery. I am a registered Republican. Yet, I can tell you, I still have high respect and love in my heart for the president and his wife of that time. So here it is. Lest we forget. youtu.be/5NvPhiuGZ6I
