Like most great Indian journeys, The Katha Collective has taken its first steps with a prayer too. Our inaugural feature begins with a subtle image of the first commuters on the first train that departs from Virar at 3:25 am and ends its sixty kilometre long run at Churchgate after two hours. In the weeks that follow, we shall share with our viewers a fantastic selection from Anushree Fadnavis ongoing exploration of life inside the Ladies only second class compartment of a Mumbai local train.
