Like my friend Stewart Lever, I had solar panels installed this year, in my case to improve my economic self sufficiency, and reduce my carbon footprint - despite payments to small generators having been cut last year. Yesterday the government announced massive subsidies to companies fracking for shale gas. The protectionist move, described below, to increase the cost of solar generation is yet another move in favour of polluting technologies rather than green ones, that’s why I’ve signed this petition.
