Like this wars really just a different brand of war Like it doesnt cater to rich and abandon poor. - Linkin Park - Rats fighting for scraps, Siphon the gas from your tank, Left your pockets empty, As they laughed to the bank. - Billy Talent - “Kill if you must, but never hate: Man is but grass and hate is blight, The sun will scorch you soon or late, Die wholesome then, since you must fight” - Robert Graves. - Money has never made man happy, nor will it, there is nothing in its nature to produce happiness. The more of it one has the more one wants. - Benjamin Franklin. - There are evils that have the ability to survive identification and go on for ever... money, for instance, or war. - Saul Bellow. - The object of living is work, experience, and happiness. There is joy in work. All that money can do is buy us someone elses work in exchange for our own. There is no happiness except in the realization that we have accomplished something. - Henry Ford. - Money doesnt change men, it merely unmasks them. If a man is naturally selfish or arrogant or greedy, the money brings that out, thats all. - Henry Ford. - Money is a new form of slavery, and distinguishable from the old simply by the fact that it is impersonal - that there is no human relation between master and slave. - Leo Nikolaevich Tolstoy. - Most people never feel secure because they are always worried that they will lose their job, lose the money they already have, lose their spouse, lose their health, and so on. The only true security in life comes from knowing that every single day you are improving yourself in some way, that you are increasing the caliber of who you are and that you are valuable to your company, your friends, and your family. - Anthony Robbins. - Are you not ashamed of caring so much for the making of money and for fame and prestige, when you neither think nor care about wisdom and truth and the improvement of your soul? -Socrates. - Amazing how many times it can be said without a single man, woman or child listening. Amazing how in this modern world of free ideas and free information where an entire country could make the decisions of an entire government with the simple addition of a box in their hallway, we still worship and covet this figment of imagination designed to keep those who dont have it, dreaming of the things they could do if they did and those who have it in ample supply in control of the masses. Why should one man be allowed to build a palace when another can barely afford to keep his cardboard box dry? Why do we have ten people in the world who collectively earned 94.6 billion U.S. Dollars in 2013, while a family starves anywhere in the world? You are restrained by others pretending to own the world. The combined military force of the world could transform Africa into arable land, if only they werent fighting the elitist wars that we hear about in the media each day, yet find ourselves powerless to stop the violence we dont endorse. People fight over questions we cannot answer, yet instead of turning to the most enlightened individuals of our primitive society (be them the farmer, the scientist or the man who has never had a penny to his name), we instead look to the genius of generations passed often believing the words of those who believed the world to be flat without first looking at it from a distance. We made a presumption that fit the world around us and now that science does this too (with a great deal more accuracy I might add), we scorn and scoff at its discoveries often finding them uninteresting or important. One man cannot make a difference, but a Nation can change the world. Throw away the boundaries imposed by the rich to differentiate their wealth. No two masses of humanity truly hate each other. Propaganda breeds hate and it is not natural in man, woman or child. We as people will never change the universe. It is so vast and so expansive that even assuming we spread our wicked vile ways amongst the other planets and stars of the sky, it is unlikely that we will stop the stars burning or the planets rolling, but we can kill each other and I propose that this is worse than any possible interpretation of another mans words. Trust your own voice and make your actions and decisions ones that you cannot refute, even if the world tells you that you are wrong.
